Directions to Jesmond Hotel: By Car: From the north: - Take the A696 approaching Tyneside. - At the intersection with the A1, go across onto the A167. - This road becomes a motorway (A167m) as you approach Newcastle city centre. - Leave this road onto the A1058 - Tynemouth Road, where you will merge with traffic arriving from the opposite direction. - Once you have merged, you will quickly encounter traffic lights at a very busy junction; turn left. - You are now on Osborne Road. The Jesmond is 800 metres ahead, on your right.
From the west: - Take the A69 approaching Tyneside. - At the intersection with the A1, turn left (north) for 2 junctions. - Then, turn right onto the A167. - Then, as above.
From the south: - Take the A1(m) approaching Tyneside. - Immediately after the services at Washington, exit onto the A167 - Gateshead South. - You will travel for approximately 3 miles, passing through the towns of Low Fell and Gateshead. - Eventually you will cross the river on the famous Tyne Bridge. - When you have crossed the bridge, the road becomes the A167 (m), signposted the north. - After just half a mile you will exit onto the A1058 - Tynemouth Road. From this point, follow the instructions above (from the north).
