| A beautiful period building with wonderful architecture both inside and out, just 5 minutes’ walk from town and adjacent to the railway station on the outskirts of Northallerton. Formerly known as the Horse and Jockey in the 1700s, it was a busy place next to the racecourse and grandstand. Renamed in 1800 and transformed in 1901, the hotel has a colourful history.
The main bar features period designs and an open fire place. The newly refurbished lounge/bistro bar is a smaller meeting place and is non-smoking. An attractive function room is situated off the main hall. It is available for many uses: private parties, buffets, and committee meetings. Bar lunches and traditional Sunday lunches are served.
The Station Hotel has 10 newly decorated bedrooms and 5 house bathrooms. Due to the nature of the building, there is no en suite accommodation. This is a non-smoking hotel. Room Details
