Directions to Connemara Coast Hotel: By Car: - From Galway city, follow the signs for Salthill. - Once in Salthill, follow the Coast Road. - The hotel is just 3 miles past the small village of Barna on the left-hand side.
- From Dublin city, drive to the quays and continue to Heuston Station, which will be on your right. - Take the N4 and continue following signs for the West. - Continue to Clonard, where you will see signposts for the N6 and Galway. - Continue along the N6, passing through Milltownpass, Tyrellspass and Moate and later through Ballinasloe, Loughrea and Craughwell. - Approaching Galway, follow signs for Galway city and then for Clifden and Oughterard. - At the junction with Headford Road, take the 3rd exit. - At the next roundabout, take the 2nd exit, which will be signposted Spiddal. - Follow signs for Coast Road/Spiddal and when driving through Barna, you will see signs for Furbo and the Connemara Coast Hotel, which will be on your left-hand side. - Journey time: 3 - 3.5 hours.
- From Shannon Airport, drive north on the N18, passing through Ennis and towards Galway. - At the Oranmore Roundabout, follow the N59 out towards Clifden. - This will take you over the Quincentennial Bridge and the River Corrib. - At this point, take the N6 and follow the signs for Spiddal or Salthill. - Continue on the signposted road to Spiddal, passing through Barna Village, until you reach Furbo. - The hotel is signposted and will be on your left. - Journey time: 70 minutes.
