Set amongst mature woodland and rolling parkland on the banks of the River Teviot, this 22 bedroom hotel (some of which are four poster) were all individually designed by the Duchess herself. With its warm and friendly atmosphere, the Dining Room reflects the hotels position at the source of some of the finest fish, meat and game - salmon and trout from the waters of the Tweed, or grouse, pheasant and venison from the Estate - complimented with wines from the Duke's own cellar. Ideally located one hour from Edinburgh or Newcastle. By car, take the a68; one mile north of Jedburgh turn east onto the a698. Travel along the a698 for 5 miles and you will see the hotel signposted just before the village of Heiton.
