High Street, Hindon, Wiltshire, England, SP3 6DP, UK [map] | | The Lamb began trading as a public house probably as early as the twelfth century. By 1870 it was already well established as a posting inn that supplied 300 post horses for coaches. To this day, the building retains plenty of its original character and features including inglenook fireplaces, flagstone floors and heavy wooden beams. Inside you will find the dining room, the Whisky and Cigar Bar, the sitting room and the meeting room as well as fourteen individually furnished bedrooms. The Lamb Inn sits in the middle of the charming Wiltshire village of Hindon and is only 20 minutes away from Salisbury. The Lamb Inn boasts fourteen spacious and charming bedrooms (three with four-poster beds) that have been individually decorated with antique furnishings and paintings. The décor is warm and welcoming, often with tartan carpets and very much in keeping with the traditional Boisdale style. Each room has an ample bathroom fully equipped for the pleasures of soaking and soaping and a complimentary basket of bath and body products. For entertainment there are LCD screens and SKY TV.
