Directions to Hôtel De La Cité: From Barcelona, highway a9, and then a61. Carcassonne Airport: conveniently located 10 minutes from Hôtel de la Cité. Flights on Ryanair to and from London-Stansted, Brussels-Charleroi, and Dublin- Ireland Airports. It is also possible for charter planes to fly to Carcassonne Airport. Toulouse-Blagnac Airport : Flights to and from all major European cities. Taxi fare from Toulouse-Blagnac to Carcassonne is approximately 190 Euros. Driving from Toulouse-Blagnac to Carcassonne: Located 100 km (65 miles) from Carcassonne, Toulouse-Blagnac Airport is easily accessible. On leaving Blagnac airport, take the motorway A61 in the direction of Montpellier/Carcassonne. As you approach Carcassonne, 2 exits are indicated. Take the second exit, Carcassonne Est (East Carcassonne). Follow the road signs for La Cité or Cité Médiévale. On reaching the Citadel, follow road signs indicating the access to the guarded car park for hotel guests, going by the walls of the old cemetery. (Please note that traffic is not permitted in the Citadel from 9am to 8pm from Easter to early November)- A hotel guest car park is located outside the city walls at no cost. A representative of the Hotel will welcome guests on that car park and will arrange their transportation to the hotel in our shuttle. The hotel is located in the heart of Medieval city, next to the Saint-Nazaire Basilica.
