Part of the Forestdale Hotel Group. Forest Park became a hotel in 1902 and, apart from being used as a military hospital in World War One, has remained as a hotel to this day. Robin Collins has owned Forest Park Hotel since 1968 and has made many alterations and additions during this time.
The Forest Park Hotel was built originally as a vicarage; Forest Park became a hotel in 1902. Situated in the heart of the New Forest, it offers opportunities for marvellous walks and horse riding. By Car:
- Leave the M27 at exit 1 and take the A337 for 9 miles to Brockenhurst via Lyndhurst.
- On the approach to Brockenhurst, go over a stream, then turn right into Merrut Road.
- Follow the winding road for half a mile to a T-junction and turn right into Rhinefild Road.
- Forest Park Hotel is a little way along on the left-hand side.
