Bishops is not a hotel, but a 5-star Guest Accommodation. This restored Victorian villa has individually designed en suite rooms and comfortable, family-run surroundings.

Relax with a delicious Yorkshire breakfast, served in a sunny dining room with views of the gardens. Alternatively, unwind with a newspaper or simply soak up the sun with a drink in the licensed conservatory.

Bishops is within walking distance of many of York's main attractions.

Free off-road parking also makes Bishops an excellent base for exploring Yorkshire's countryside and coastline.
Bishops is a family-run establishment, committed to comfortable and relaxing breaks for couples and families. It is one of York's select few providers to achieve the 5-star Guest Accommodation category. Bishops also keeps its Silver Award for cleanliness and overall quality.

Each morning, a breakfast buffet is followed by a full English or vegetarian breakfast, cooked to order using fresh ingredients. Eggs are sourced from a local farmer, with bacon and sausages supplied by a local butcher.

Travel cots and high chairs are available for little ones, with free cordial drink also available for children.
